Flea Market pop ups...

As we were driving down to Osoyoos

on the weekend,

we came across a few

Flea Market Pop Ups.

In a field, vendors casually displaying their

"stuff" for sale.

Some were treasures, others junk.

You have to be patient and find the good stuff,

and I did.

They will be packed in the car for our journey to

our nephew's wedding in the weekend

near Cranbrook.

Stopping along the way to

do the exchange with Cindy in Salmo.

Thanks my darling friend for coming to meet us.

Cherries and patio lights in the exchange as well!

We have a busy few months ahead, with travel, company,

family coming from Austrailia,

vintage Faires, trips to Vancouver.

I love this time of the year.

The cherries are in season...

Our cherries have ripened at least 3 weeks early and we

have a bumper crop.

We drove to Osoyoos today, where it is usually the

hot spot in Canada.

The cherry trees are groaning under

the weight of all theses luscious berries.

Random goodness...

Friends coming for lunch.
I love getting up early on these hot summer days,
cooking early, making iced tea, grilling,
having it all done so we can just enjoy lunch
with our friends.

Love for flowers and colour combined.....

Looking at flowers gives you a wonderful sense of colour combinations.

I love Design Seeds.

Her sense and colour combinations are

perfection.

These images make it easy to pick out great

colour combinations.

A busy week..

The bathroom reno's are almost done.

The seamless glass shower doors get installed tomorrow.

{so happy to get rid of those ugly metal tracks}

Jim installed a shower rainhead, new waterfall taps,

as well as new lights with led bulbs.

What a difference the new undermounted sinks and granite countertops make.

No photos of the bathroom yet, but here are a few ones I have

loved this week.

Isn't my fiend Shirley's boat a dream?

At anchor in Tod's Inlet with other Classic Wooden Boats!

A restful beach picnic...

A lovely day spent at the beach.

It was hot, 33 degrees.

I have a feeling this warm weather will

continue for a few weeks to come.

A picnic, a good book to read, an afternoon spent relaxing.

A perfect summer day.

Sunny and warm..

Our weather has turned back to sunny and warm.

In fact, this weekend will be hot.

We seen people swimming and sunbathing already.

Cindy sent me a couple of photos of her

peonies.

They must be some of my favourite flowers.

I just can't resist making them into watercolours!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Joys of our walk...

Down by the beach again where

we walk nearly every day.

Sometimes in the evening, but mostly in the late afternoon.

It is called

"The Gellately Nut Farm."

An old farm at the edge of the lake that now is a

Regional District Park.

This is one of our favourite picnic spots as well

My photos taken on our walk.
