Yesterday we drove 1031 kms = 640 miles..just below Provo, Utah..Jim drove most of the way as my allergies have been brutal in the last few days..lack of sleep..so I napped in the car, only drove 50 miles..Jim was a trooper to let me rest...Here are some of the sights we saw along the way..I keep a journey for all of our trips, a bit of doodling helps track of the miles, passes the time as well as settles a few bets we might have later on about our travels.
Ha! Smart Dagmar! Love the notes; whenever daughter and I travel to the States, hubby's first question is "how much was the gas?" I see you note that too! :)
Love the awesome photos! I read only yesterday that the 1968 Planet of the Apes was filmed in Utah - I would have sworn it was the Grand Canyon (of course it came up as we were watching it and I had to Google it). I never knew Utah was so beautiful and majestic.
So glad we can all enjoy the great sights of your travels together! Have fun!
Wonderful scenery and reminds me of many western movies I've seen - my husband loves them!! The hot air balloon is so pretty! What a huge mileage in one day - Jim must have been so tired at days end. Are you having rest days too? hugs Shane ♥
Love all your pictures ... interesting shots ... I wonder how many visited that service station over the years ... I bet it could tell a few stories ... 111 xoxo
