It's all about Claire...

Whenever I get a chance to play outside

with Claire, we take it and we are both have lots of fun.

Luckily there are lots of parks we can enjoy.

Ice cream was high on our list of fun things to try.

We drove downtown to visit a friend and stopped in to enjoy a cone.

Wonderful weekend in Vancouver...

Staying for a couple days with Frosso.

Seeing her beautiful garden, visiting and catching up with old friends.

Spending the weekend with Claire,

Jeremy and Julie.

Baking cupcakes, reading, walking, taking lots of photos,

playing together, watching her at her karate class,

going out for dinner,

bath time, bedtime,

good morning snuggles.

It was a really special time.

At Frosso's home....

Thankfully Frosso was at her Vancouver home this visit.

She travels between Halifax, Vancouver and Cyprus.

We went thrifting, visiting friends and

just catching up as old friends do.

Her garden is stunning, her hellebores are beautiful

as are seeing the flowers in her

Strathcona neighbourhood.

This afternoon I head over to spend the weekend

with Claire and her gang.

You can imagine how excited I am to see them.

Having lunch..

I met Shirley at the

Granville Island Market in Vancouver

to celebrate her birthday which is on

Sunday.

We wondered where these last 30 years went?

Friendships like ours only get

better with time.

What a gorgeous drive down it was

as well a fabulous day here in Vancouver.

Time well spent...

We all love to go see show homes,

especially Claire.

She happily takes off her shoes and checks out the kitchens,

bathrooms and bedrooms.

Her comments are quite funny at times.

We stopped for ice cream, went for a walk, sang a lot of songs, had a bath

&

played with her toys.

I read her several books and now it is time to

say goodbye again.

See you soon, my sweetheart!

The Granville Market...

Always something colourful to see.

Had lunch with my long time dear friend Shirley aboard her

live aboard boat.

Catching up, walking, going to the art gallery.

Here are a few of the photos I took.

Down in Vancouver..

The drive down was a bit tense.

For about 10 miles it was snowing and very dense fog

as only the

Coquihalla Highway can have.

I found a few worthy thrifted treasures,

shared lunch to my son,

then have a wonderful walk in Frosso's

neighbourhood.

The drive to Vancouver..

Rain and more rain,

then fog and more fog.

thru the grasslands, into the city,

over the Port Mann Bridge.

Then the best part,

seeing Julie in her new class room

as well as going for a walk with Claire.

It is good to be here with

them.
