Shortbread cookies..

Christa has been baking.

Showing me all

the cookies piling up in her kitchen.

She bakes dozens and dozens

of cookies, then spends

alot of time glazing them.

Not to be left out at

Christmas time without any cookies,

I made some shortbread ones and

added jam to a few.

Lighter fare....

I just made this salad,

adding the avocado and grape tomatoes just before serving.

The lime juice gives it a nice tang, it is colourful and delicious.

I had added some cilantro to mine.

Served with a few slices of left over turkey,

it makes for a lighter but tasty supper.
