The longest night was last night, the start of winter.
It gets very dark here quickly.
We hiked just as the sun was going down behind the mountain.
The air became noticeably cooler.
Time to come in and wrap a few gifts to bring as we go out to friends
for dinner and drinks.
Some fresh rosemary is almost a fragrant as
the smell of pine boughs.
