Which handmade gift did Kari pick?

For each great niece or nephew born,

I make them a handmade bunny, or in this case a deer.

I gave Kari a choice of these 4 handmade softies and she choose

Heidi, the deer.

I am in the process of knitting her a dress, then she will be sent

off to Bull River to be loved.

The smoke has gone...

A huge storm blasted Vancouver.

Strongest storm in 10 years, 500,000 homes with out power.

We received some of the wind and some rain here,

finally the smoke is gone.

Tidying up, baking and going for an

evening walk was a great way to spend our weekend.

Ina Garten's peach recipe.

Claire loves to re-arrange all the clothes on the bunnies, cat and deer.

Then she forgets to dress them back up.

She loves to put a bracelet around each ones neck

adding a necklace.

She loves these little handmade bunnies.

Integrating my crafts from AZ.

There were some of my crafts

I just could not give away or leave behind in AZ.

My handmade felted owls as well

as some of my felt bunnies and deer.

I have them here for Claire to enjoy when she comes

up each summer.

This is little Anna,

I hope one day she finds her namesake.

I am on the mend...

I am starting to feel like my

good old self again.

A few things from around the house.

Lucy's new knitted dress...

I made "Lucy" quite a while ago.

She was the first bunny that I made for Claire.

Today she wears her new knitted dress.

This dress knitted up a bit easier for me, but only after I got the rounds

joined in the correct order.

I also blocked this little dress and it does make a difference.

Lucy is joined with Isabella for this photo shoot.

I made Isabella an underdress just a bit longer than

the knitted dress.

Day 3 & 4....

Shopping for new shoes and clothes,

swimming and chasing a duck

in the pool,

making all the bunnies have a nap..

It has been a good Thursday and Friday so far.

Claire...day two...

There was a lot of twirling, dancing, singing

as well as just having fun.

Auntie Ev's Lion Purse

was a big hit.

Here are a few of the fun shots that made up our

day.

Claire has arrived...

We have been waiting along time
to have Jeremy, Julie and Claire
come for a visit!
Now that they are here, I will be able to take
photos to my hearts content!

Little Isabella with her knitted dress and underskirt, as well

as cotton bloomers.

Baked pumpkin banana bread.

Love my little cutting board from Cindy

as well as the pink spreader from Sue.
