Finally, Day 12, out of the rain, and here into the 80 degree weather in Yuma, AZ. We put on alot of miles in 3 days of steady driving, but once we got around Redding Califonia, the weather got into the 70s, so we were on a roll. It hit 80 in Palm Springs where we saw 11 Prevost Bus with all the gear for the Rolling Stones concert coming up in Vegas, really cool buses.
The Palm trees and the umberalla are here right outside our site in Yuma at Country Roads RV Park. All the 1,000 or so here all owned their lots so we have been able to rent this one for a month.
The " girls" are settling down to only having gravel to walk on, but they get used to that pretty quick. There is lots to do, and we have our friends from Sacramento here, Franz and Ilse, and that means fun.
I hope to start scrapbooking pages soon, and Jim is looking forward to doing some golf after we have settled in over the next few day.
So where ever you are, keep warm, be happy and of course don't miss us too much in the hot weather down here.
