Firefighting - one of the few professions left that still makes house calls.
Just outside dead heading and cutting back all the flowers that had really been hit by the heat wave. For 2 days in 94 degree weather we couldn't water because the fire department needed all the water pressure. Understandly so, and now that the fires close to us are under control, we can once again water.
These were just too cheerful to throw away in to the rest of the pile.
Dare to be remarkable!
We are all ok, did not get evacuated last night but a new fire broke out above Bear Creek called Rose Valley, they are just starting with all the water bombers and helicopters, looks like we are in a MASH unit...

Every M/W/F we get 2 pages of creative ideas to work on. This is the cover, inside cover and first page. 20 pages of water color paper to work with.
It is meant to challenge each one of us to get more creative in our journalling process and add more elements for just the fun of it all.
Some how, all this appeals to me on so many different levels.
Raining here today and we need it, Jim off at work, so Cookie and I are just hanging out and I get to play in my craft room.
Can a girl get any more lucky than that...I think Not!!
