Books...

The weather has been so great the last few days, I took the time to read a couple of books from my growing list. These 2 books were wonderful, so different and each one of them touched me on several different levels. We have a great lending library here are at Solera, so you just pick out a book, read it and take it back, all on the honor system. Sitting in the sun and having the time to read is to me a true luxury, one I love.

A good book should leave you... slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it.

I've read them both and loved them both! I can't wait for the sequel to the Kite Runner to come out in paperback!

Let me recommend "Water for Elephants" I read it the same summer I read "Memory Keeper's Daughter" and they were my two favorite of that year. Kite Runner is definitely on my list.
You don't look 58. I'm 62. Older than I ever thought I'd be.
