Golfing on Christmas Eve Day

Evelyne and Richard joined Jim and I golfing on Christmas Eve Day. The weather stayed nice, warm and sunny until about 4:45pm, then a cool wind came up and that was it for me. The real golfers finished off the 18 holes, came home and we had a wonderful Christmas dinner together. After phoning all the family in BC to see how their Christmas Eve festivities were going, we have Pecan Pie with whipped cream for dessert. Then it was our trun to sit around and open our Christmas gifts. It was a very special time to have Ev and Richard here for our first Christmas in our home in Queen Creek. For Christmas today, we had an excellent adventure, travelling the lenght of the Old Apache Trail. We left here at 10:30 with a packed picnic lunch, both dogs and a good map and returned at 4:30, just in time for happy hour drinks.

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends, you have been in our thoughts in the different places that you all live.

Happy Holidays to Jeremy & Julie, Laurie & Shane, Brad & Carmen.

To Christa, Cindy and Shannon, I will talk to you soon.
