Somehow picking cherries yourself adds to how sweet they taste..some varieties all most finished here in our valley... @.50 cents a lb..they are a sweet bargain...toss them gently into a pan with some water, a bit of sugar and lemon juice..cook just for a few minutes until they are tender...this way
you are able to keep their luscious flavor longer...spooned over ice cream or yogurt, it tastes good any time of the day.❤

Great idea my sweet friend....I just finished off the last of the okanagan cherries...onto the apricots. Have a fun filled day. I am in my home...cleaning!!! Reorganizing...I love doing this...it is a bit chilly and overcast today ..a perfect day to do this kind of work. xoxoox
Oh, I love Ranier's!
Yum! You really were cooking some up. Cherry season must be done here as hubby hasn't been bringing any home from the grocery store lately.
I love Helen's crocheted bag -- but my sewing skills are severely lacking. Pretty much non-existent to be exact. I tried to do a lining before when I crocheted bags for two of my best friends. I filled the bags with gifts and told them not to look too closely at the lining. :)
Have a great day. Tammy
Yum! I'll have to try that!
