I love globes, maps (even Google Maps), trains, boats and planes. I love the planning & the journey as much as the destination.
Shame the Panama Canal cruise I went to book was full. You see I'm still a bit of a procrastinator & did too much research so I missed the boat if you pardon the pun!
Have to say I don't take a pillow or a blanket but I took pack a lot of other stuff.

Love the old globes too - so many memories from when we used these in class! Looking at them now, you can see all the changes in country names since the 60's!
