The air quality here was so bad, it was nearly impossible
to be outside.
I really felt the effects of the smoke, sore throat, headache, runny nose,
almost allergy like.
So I decided to cook and bake.
Peach muffins, quiche, grilled vegetables
as well as carmelized onions.
It all tasted very good.

Yes it certainly does look scrumptious! Hope the problems are over soon. Wish I could send some of our rain to where the fires are we've certainly had some tremendous downpours.
It's strange but the US fires just have not made the news here in the UK. You can usually rely on the BBC website to keep you up to date but never seen anything.
We are really smokey here as well.
Let's just hope that everything cools off in the next few days!!!
