I had such a wonderful birthday today.
Started off with a lovely morning
with Jim and a good drive down to Vancouver.
Jeremy, Julie and Claire bought all the ingredients to make cupcakes.
First thing, we got busy baking!
Then we played for an hour or so on the
swings and in the park.
Claire made sure I got a free ice cream sundae when we
went for dinner at Red Robin.
It made her so happy to tell everyone that this was her
Oma's birthday.
She wanted them to
sing the birthday song for me.
I truly felt so loved with all the phone calls, messages,
emails and cards from friends as well as my family.
Thank you all very, very much.

Beautiful memories made for your birthday. I know you had a great time. I understand now why our visit was interrupted ... Claire needed to get those cupcakes made and baked for her Oma ... I presume the best part was making the icing and licking the extra icing off the beaters ... mmmmmm ... then adding the sprinkles ... enjoy ...xoxo
