We had such a beautiful hike today at

Kalamoir Regional Park.

The hillside with ablaze with yellow flowers.

Hundreds of them making the most happy walk we have had this spring!

Balsamorhiza Sagittata

is a North American species of flowering plant in the sunflower tribe of the aster family known by the common name arrowleaf balsamroot.

It is widespread across western Canada and much of the western United States.

Looks like a gorgeous day for a walk! And those flowers - I'm glad to know their name - such a bright and pretty sight on the hills.

It looks like a beautiful place to go for a hike. The weather seemed to be perfect as well. Love those yellow flowers ... I have not seen any yet in our neck of the woods. Love all the pictures and your new header. xoxo
