In Bull River...

It great being here, seeing my family.

Some of the most fun I have is crafting with the kids.

Myla, Tyce, Sawyer, Haley and Ryker

with their parents, Amanda and Riley!

Not home on this visit is

Colby and Issac.

Saying goodbye...

Once again I climbed the hill to pay my respect to my

Mom and Dad.

Bull River is a small town,

They were well known and loved.

A few plaques to remind us of their lives.

A wonderful way to spend the time with my family.

The view from the bench.

Thanks to my wonderful family for all the memories we shared these past few days.

A day with my family...

I drank a lot of coffee and walked a lot today visiting my

large family in Bull River.

Harry and I walked up to Mom and Dad's bench where their ashes

were spread. Just sitting there for a few

moments remembering our childhoods.

Jill gifted me with a pink Pyrex Gooseberry Cinderella bowl

to add to my collection.

A walk to the Kootenay Trout Hatchery with Caroline and the kids.

We saw the bluebird houses and fed

the fish.

Here are some of the photos of my wonderful day.

It was good to come home....

The flight was short and sweet, well

flown by a female pilot

in 55 minutes from Kelowna to Cranbrook.

A drive that would of taken me

at least 8 hours over

several high mountain passes.

I got to meet the little ones, a few for the first time.

A wonderful dinner prepared and shared with

family at my sister Evelyne's and her

husband Richard's home.

Home again....

Summertime travel thru the interior of

BC is always interesting.

I think like many other places, there is definatley

more traffic, less courteous drivers

and more distracted ones.

This should not take away how beautiful a drive it is.

It just makes you happy to arrive home safely.

Thru the windshield photos.

The beautiful photos...

These photos were taken by a professional photographer,

Oliver.

He did a wonderful job capturing the true love between

Troy, Mandy and their girls.

I love the fact that they went up to the bench

and had photos taken

at our

Mom and Dad's final resting place.

Thanks to Caroline's sweet husband, Larry for keeping that bench in such good repair all these years.

A weekend wedding...

A wonderful weekend with family

and friends.

A time to get together to celebrate

Troy and Mandy's wedding.

To help out preparing the food

and flowers with my two great sisters,

Evelyne and Caroline.

To share all the great meals, the conversations

as well as reminisce.

Happy to have a visit with my sweet friend,

Christa.

Here are a few scenes from the weekend.

Happy 75th birthday. Larry, even if it was a few days early....

Away from home..

Coming back to my childhood home
for a family wedding.
With six brothers and sisters,
nieces, nephews, new babies and old
family friends, it is always a fun and
a very interesting time.

The famous huckleberry pie!
