Tasking a new Makelight photography course...

Happy days these are.

Continuing my love for taking photos.

So much fun learning and styling my photos.

Each day I can be creative,

each day I can find a new photo

to take.

Playing in my studio..

I have been having lots of fun styling my photos,

either in my craftroom or near a window

where the light is good.

This week I decided I would see what props

I had that are yellow along with the flowers I picked.

I was quite surprised about how many yellow things I had.

This was the photo I took on the weekend

that inspired the yellow palate.

All were taken with my IPhone 5c.

Thursday, Day 4..

It was a very fulfilling creative day.

Filming in bright sun,

filtering some of the light.

Keeping the some of shadows to get a sense of perception.

It's just a perfectly beautiful day.

Day 3 of my Makelight course..

We are learning about taking photos with intent.

Composition and styling.

Learning how important shooting in natural light is.

Doing flat lays and being observant in the process.

About editing in different photo apps that are available.

We have been sharing

what we are learning with our class mates.

I have been loving the process!

Preparing for my course...

There are 75 people registered for the

Makelight

online course starting tomorrow.

We have all connected on a private FaceBook page

to introduce ourselves and show

what our current photos look like on Instagram.

I have been busy collecting things I would like to use to style my photos.

It was sunny and bright for a few hours this morning, so,

I got out my big white canvas frame and had fun with some of my props.

Here is how they turned out,

they were all taken with my iPhone 5c

Taking a photography course...

My quest for learning continues.

On Monday I take an online photography course called

"Makelight"

I am a big fan of Emily Quinton.

here

of her blog and her photographs.

Her work is beautifully styled, her subject matter

of floral compositions aligns with my taste.

All photos will be taken with my iPhone and posted to my

Instagram account.

These two are mine below, gathering my props to enhance
my photos.
