As found at the Nelson Thrift Stores!! It was a lucky day to find this little treasure with Cindy to add to my collection.

A gift from Cindy, she has been busy collecting on my behalf!!

Old game pieces and a lovely old crib board that she found for me as well.
Today I will phone the fruit markets here and find out when the
peaches are available. Cindy will come for a visit and take back some fruit...
What a plan!!!

Sisters on the Fly...

These wonderful Vintage Trailers belong to some of the members of

"Sisters on the Fly"

They all travel in these funky vintage fixed up trailers, and I have wanted one as well...

Jim, not so much...still working on that..

They all went to "The Farm Chicks Show" http://www.thefarmchicks.com/ in Spokane last weekend. How cool that must of looked with all these old trailers.

Cindy and I missed it this year, but next year we will be geared up and ready to go.

So if anyone out there knows of a great little vintage trailer that is for sale and is in reasonably in good shape, just let me know.

No Knead Ciabatta Bread...

So here it is just warm out of the oven. 18 hours of rising, then another 2 on the baking sheet and 35 minutes in the oven. Can't wait to try it with lunch.
At Cindy's suggestion I had to try it while it was warm and paired it with her famous Raspberry Jam...How do you spell "Yummy"

Picnic pictures

Jim and Cookie just waiting to eat after the rain stopped.
We are here at "Everly"
a Forestry campsite on the west side of Okanagan Lake.

Found feather. Photo taken for Christa.

Jim drove the convertible and when it wasn't drizzling, it was pretty warm...as you can tell with the sunshine on the water...
We were at the dog beach at Fintry Provincal Park.

A happy Cookster enjoying the breeze.
Wishing a Happy Birthday today, to my
Ya Ya Shannon
& my nephew Matt, who gets married in 2 weeks.
